Just the sketch.
I picked a Native American legend about Ioskeha and Tawiskara. Twin brothers that battled over the world. Ioskeha Fought with the horn of a stag beetle and Tawiakara fought with a twig.

Its coming along pretty well I think. I still need to work on how I'm going to design the giant steam powered stag beetle.

Hey Alyson,

Your idea sounds very original, great :D Nice sketch, like the perspective on it. Maybe a leg of the beetle on a foreshorten position to the viewer to emphasis the deep and perspective on the image. Only a comment. Good luck!! and waiting for more updates :)
