Title: Sunlit Studio
Name: David Simon
Country: Australia
Software: CINEMA 4D

I started this as an exercise using Cinema 4D's Advanced Renderer to create the lighting in my studio as the light fell through my arched balcony and struck my curtains. I used an intense area light for the sun and rendered with ambient occlusion and global illumination to let the sunlight bounce around the room naturally. The chair and violin I had modeled and textured for another project, and were added to give the scene a focal point.

it looks great. I am just about to start using the new Cinema4D v11, and wanted to know that in your scene you did not use any internal light to augment the sun light
