Sorry for the basic render, but I just finished the first version of the textures...will probably revamp most of them, though. I'm off for a vacation now, so I'm afraid this is the only picture I have to offer atm =)

Here's something I've been working on for the last couple of days.
It's the first thing I've modelled in months , and it's my first serious attempt at a female figure (also the first thing I've ever posted here at CG Talk :D ).
I used some basic female references from http://www.planetquake.com/shattered/shine/images/ref/index.htm .

Modelled in max 5. I have yet to sort out the UV's, texture her and perhaps animate her, but the model itself will soon be done, I hope. Any C&C would be welcome!

That's the smoothed version (hope it works).
I'll keep updating her as I progress.

2000 poly's? damn! this can be the greatest unreal tournhament 2003 model ever. it's great :D wireframe?

Yeah, I can hardly believe my Polygon Counter myself.
Note that the 2164 is without the eyes, but I guess you could figure that one out yourself :D .
The eyes are just two temporary spheres, and if she goes into a game at some point, the eyes will be remade...bringing the polycount up to 2300 at a maximum.

Anyways, here are some wires...sorry for the messy image.
I know there's a feature where you force a wire on top of the texture when you render, but I can't find it :shrug: .

very nice model! and nice reference link too, I spendt serveral hours yesterday leeching from fileplanet ;)

About your polycount, I think the reason why the unbelievable low number is that you havent triangulated the model yet. It has to be done before you import it into a game engine :/

Yeap, you're absolutely right, midnigt.
Since I'm not sure if she's going into a game or not, I figured I might as well wait with the triangulation...if I'm just doing a short animation with her for practice, then there's really no need to triangulate =)
