I'm starting a new series of mini-tutorials at www.melscripting.com to discuss topics of interest in MEL. These will be focused and short discussions that go beyond the coverage in MEL Scripting for Maya Animators. (http://www.melscripting.com)

I hope they're useful! The first one, posted this morning, is entitled Local and Global Procedures.

(Moderators: I placed this post in the global Maya forum in the hope that it would be of interest to some who do not regularly follow the MEL discussions.)

BTW, any suggestions for future mini-tutorials? Scope should be simple, like a page or two, and preferably not something covered in MEL Scripting for Maya Animators as I'd rather not write the same thing twice. :D
