Hello Guys!

I've been searching the solution to the problem but I didnt find it...
I'm making a character turn or doing a side step and if I move all the controls to the position that i want, I will leave the master control behind. How can I solve this problem?
Thanks in advance guys!

Andre :D

You can:

- ignore it (Jason Ryan uses this master control for initial layout of his character in the scene)
- try to use it for shiftin weight or turning, but that seems to be hard to archive correctly (sliding feet and such)
- "snap" master control by movin the character back to it and then - in one frame - alignin the whole thing to the previous frame.

Phew... I`m not sure if my english allowed me to explain it clearly ;)

Hey Drug!

Humm...I would be tempted to leaving it behind! But I dont know if I could need it later near the chr.
What do you choose if you were in that situation?

I understood what you said, so your english is more than fine. :D

Thank you for your help ;)!

;)

Well... it depends. If you know exactly what you`re doin in your shot, then you can easily predict if you`ll need it or not:) (was that a rhyme?!?!? ;) )

If that`s not a walk cycle or any other cycle I would just leave it behind:)

For me the master control serves no other purpose than to initially position the character and determine it's scale. From there I leave it alone and use all of the other controls available!

Drug - Yes, I know what I'm doing and envolves a run cicle. But I think for training purposes I will do it without using the master control :D.
Thank you for your help!

stewartjones - Hey! I suppose your right, like I said before to drug. Anyway, Thank You! ;)
