There may be a chance to repeat the same legend or myth in this challenge, even more being a tale as "Don Quijote de la Mancha" written by Miguel de Cervantes y Saavedra (1547-1616). It is one of the most translated books of universal literature.
I tried to adapt this incredible story of wisdom, humor and friendship in the steampunk style.
The images above are: on the left side my first concept for the Don Quixote and the other one on the right is only my "reference" to illustrate the part of the history I'm going to work on.

Thanks

Hey Andre,

Really cool that you choosed Don Quijote for this challenge, that can be a unique and original concept, nice ! :D Like a lot your first sketch on the manchego man :D You can take great inspiration on Doré ' s illustrations for "Don Quijote de La Mancha" :) Good luck and looking forward for more updates!! Cheers!!

I like the character concept. Nicely done. I'm eager to see what you have in mind for the windmill he's charging. I'm picturing a huge pile of iron and brass with steam. Nice! :applause:

Man, where the heck are you ?

Hope you are ok. You disappeared.

I know you was doing a lot of work lately, but don't give up here, I'm dying curious to see your progress.
I know you can just make a super hit and post by the end but it would be nicer to follow up you artwork progress, share the process, that's the cool thing at CGTalk challenge threads.

I like you a lot, and love your artwork ! Keep it up :)

My best wishes bro, cya
