Hey,
I'm now getting to the end of my degree, but have got to capture some video footage to comp with my 3D stuff. Frankly the facilities at Uni aren't great (and besides, I tend to work at night...)

What video capture card would anyone recomend so i can do the stuff at home? Preferably one with a 5 1/4 " bay for inputs.

How much are you prepared to pay for it?

I would like a Matrox RT2500 (or a HDBoxx, lol), but so far my old MiroVideo DC30 is actually still up to the task!

Anyway, except for the HDBoxx, we're talking about 1000-1500$... if you can manage that, I would recommend the RT2500!

If you get the RT2500 remember to save some more money for the SCSI HDs... you will need it! :D
