Very simple scene. Just an exercise. 3ds Max 2009 with mental ray and photoshop. Any comments and crits are welcome.

What I've noticed when I'm visitinb old castles and towers,
that the stairs always have some "footprints" in it, because they are that old and used that much.

klassics: very interesting photo, I know this effect, and it is applied to the stairs on my image, but I didn't know that it might be so strong. I suppose that it depends on kind of stone. Anyway very interesting and helpful.

It's defenatly not always that strong,
This picture is "the tower of pisa" cause I knew it was extremely over there.
It 's one of the most visited towers in the world, and have proven not to be an architectal masterpiece.
