Hi there, this is my first post here, and im lookin for some critics :)
this is supposed to become a space marine from warhammer 40k and will be printed as a birthday present for my brother as hes really into that game :)
(to be more specific, its from the grey knight chapter and in terminator armor)

Looks pretty good so far. Having not personally seen the particular material you are basing this on, I cannot crit on the overall design. If fact, it's impossible to remark on the modeling, as it's completly fantasy and can be anything you want.
Having said that, here are a few pointers.
One, good lighting will make a huge difference in the overall quality of the image. I'm not talk GI, just a decent 3 point light setup would be a good start.
Second, I'd say alot of the details need to be a bit harder. Some of the indentations around the shoulder panel have a certain squishyness that could be shored up.
It's a good start. If you want better crits, try posting the reference you are working from.
Keep going. It's a very nice thing you are doing for your bro.

The smaller pipes behind the head looks weird as in the proportion with the bigger pipes.. maybe u could change the style of the pipes..

heres an update of my character.
updates: sharper lines, better lighting, added breast armour, and a start of the belt thing he/she`s wearing.
as before, of course im lookin forward to gettin critics :)
