View Full Version : proportionally move uvs?
Is there anyway to proportionally move uvs. After planar mapping I would like to line the uv borders up before i move+sew. It's tedious to move every uv by hand.

so like a uv border edge, you would like it all perfectly flat? like if its running up and down you want it all verticle? like a strait line?
if that is what you mean, i would use the align uv tool. its under polygons, in uv texture editor.
It's curved and wavey sometimes. ohwell. Kinda ironic because all those fancy 3d tools don't work on 2d.

You can select all the UV's you want to align, then hold Shift+X and Middle mouse button click a axis on the move gizmo. It will grid snap all the UV's into a line.
