From Wikipedia
"Terence David John Pratchett, OBE (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Order_of_the_British_Empire) (born 28 April 1948) is an English[2] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terry_pratchett#cite_note-1) fantasy (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fantasy_author), science fiction (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Science_fiction), and children's author (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Children%27s_literature). He is best known for his popular and long-running Discworld (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Discworld) series of comic fantasy novels. Pratchett's first novel, The Carpet People (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Carpet_People), was published in 1971, and since his first Discworld (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Discworld) novel (The Colour of Magic (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Colour_of_Magic)) was published in 1983, he has written two books a year on average. Pratchett is also known for close collaboration on adaptations of his books but has held back from Discworld feature films so far."

As far as I can remember, the eigth sin is only briefly mentioned as a joke. He is not described in any way. Been a little while since I read his books so I might be wrong, but I doubt it :)
