hi,

i take a normal cylinder and i select the material to lambert.
i give it a texture and select a bump map.

the problem is that he apply my bump map but he also drawns the bumpmap on my texture .

Ok, im not sure what you want done exactly, that looks fine to me although the bump value looks a little high. thats why its showing up black in places. does that help? if not just msg what you want done exactly.

btw, how did you get them big images to show up in cgtalk? is that linked to a site or something? im only allowed to post no greater than 20k?

ahh, i scanned the source i found out how ok thanks. so did you get your bump fixed?

i am trying right know ,i think my bump-depth is to high.

i post it when i find the problem or if it keeps messing up.

render is finish :-) , my bump depth was to high !
