Title: Frogart
Name: Alexander Brown
Country: USA
Software: 3ds max, mental ray, Photoshop, ZBrush

I spent many hours on this character. He has been fully rigged with two rigs, one for Unreal and one for animation in 3ds max. The concept is that he is a cyborg frog with a human inside his torso. I used 3ds max to make the base mesh, then detailed and painted him in zbrush for diffuse and normal maps. This swamp scene was made in 3ds max and rendered with mental ray with post work done in photoshop.

Good work Alexander,But I think you need some adjustment for lighting and for color balance.

very interesting. the character model looks nice but yeah, the environment needs some work. try to break up the specular / reflection on the water.

Thanks for the comments guys. The spec passes were an issue for me on this piece, and I have learned a great deal more about good lighting since then.

Here are some renders of the character from multiple angles. I spent a great deal of time on him in zbrush making the textures so I hope you like.
