Hello fellow C4D users. I have been working 2 straight days on this and its my first Woman mesh ever. I must admit the mesh itself isn't the cleanest as in polygon placement and flow but it works. As beutiful as she seems at the moment it is unlikely she will be "cute" in the end as I am the master of "crazy Alien things" quoted from my fellow classmates. That I am. I have come a long way since just a few weeks ago when I attempted my (first) humanoid model ever and as I remember that W.I.P thread was a total embarassment to myself and died rather quickly. I was told by a CGtalk member however a principle about how a believable character must look like it it can actualyl exist in physical terms. I was previously told on my first model that although it was creative, it just didn't look believably concrening form of the model and how I flawed the basic mechanical priciples. I purposely went for the abstract look in this character (and yes its on purpose and not an excuse to cover up my modeling flaws) and streched look as it will probably be nightmarish when complete. I think I made improvement in this model, what do you think so far?

Also I think I'm gonna post my W.I.P's in the C4d section of the forums from now on as it seems people are just friendlier in this area.:wavey: bye for now.

not too bad, there are some definite anatomy issues in the shoulder/armpit, going into the arm

keep us updated.

Yeah, the pectoral muscle attaches closer to the armpit rather than the top of the shoulder. Also, the breasts seem way too solid--like overfilled implants. Generally it's a good start though.

Good start. It looks like once you got to the legs you may have been rushing it. I have been guilty of this too. Now that they are layed out I would go in and tweak the shape of them. You are achieving a good look with the torso. It does look stylized as you described. Keep us updated.

Its pretty good so far, but I notice the belly button is too high, or the torso is too long. Also there is a crease above the legs, I assume where you connected the legs and torso that needs point manuipulation, and the same thing amad t said about the breasts. Great job over all though.

the knees look a little impossible. With a little work this will be first class.

Do you think its possible that can post an unsmothed wire dude?

ohh and clicking on the link works if you are using safari. I did not have to drag and drop.

Ok here is an update. The mesh on the left in the attached image is the 2'nd older model and the one on right is the newest version. the pictures you people saw earlier were from the 1'st version. Thanks AdamT and Kaiskai for pointing out the arm issues. Although its hard to tell, you can see the model on the right has been fixed somewhat in that arm area but it still needs more tweaking as the boobs are causing problems. I might remake the boobs entirely and that should get rid of that second armpit look.

You can also see I remade the belly button (right) to look more realistic since before it just looked like a hole(left). And I slightly brought it further down.

I also brang the top of the body down around the waste region(right) resulting in a more anotomically correct hieght for the character. It also made it more convincing since before(left) it was way to elongated at the stomach. I defined her back a little along spine line and shoulder blades.

The boobs are very poorly meshed and there is a lot of pinching, and unnatural look to them from the side because they are more UU shaped then OO.

and JIII, an unsmoothed Wire, lol are you kidding? I'm warning you that the mesh is a mess and nowhere near clean. I'm scared that I would scare people away from this thread if I showed the un-hyper-nurbed mesh.:D

the knees aer still a little knocked kneeed. But yeah that is a really good update, a few more like this and after texturing, her and she will be perfect.

ehe wow! Amazing! Unheard of! An actual update by me.!!
Well as you can see the boob mesh on left was just really horrible, Go ahead and laugh, I did. I had to completely remake the boobs and the result is on the right with a much nicer mesh. It was difficult because it required me to remake the entire chest structure and arm areas.

Its amazing for me to make an update on a W.I.P so clap for me.

Another tiny update to the abdominal area.
Old version left, new version right.

Better still. I think her thighs should come together except for a small gap at the very top.

Yes I know exactly what you are saying. I was having a difficult time with that and from the reference picture it is even having the thighs closer together. I will try to fix it.
