View Full Version : All shaders are giving weird normal results
Levitateme 06-14-2003, 08:35 AM If i just have the default shader on my objects im fine. if i apply basically anything else, then i get the results in the image i attached. i applied a toon shader, i get this somewhat reversed look, its weird, depending on were the camera is shows this reversed look. I first saw it with a toon shader i got off higned, but now its almost anyshader i attach to any object will do this. it happens in all my scenes as well, the default shader is the only thing that seems to be working, besides the standard shaders, blinn, phong, anyone have this happen? knowhow to fix?

check the normals of the model, also check on what is attached to a shader in hyper shade
perhaps u create a node in projection mode or other mode

my friend said this>
you need to convert from camera object space to the world space coord
he is not at work though, so i m not sure what he is talking about. im guessings it is something on my shader?

Is this sub D model? Try this not sure if it is the same problem that I have too. Assign a UV mapping to your model and the shader will appear.

yah, its polygons, just normal soften is at 180. its all weighted, and textured, the texture for it works fine. but any other i get these results. just curious because its applies to most most models. i know its just the shaders im using though.
