Hi im a newb to this program, just recently started to learn how to use it. I am wondering if its possible to render a short animation and export it transparently to take to after effects or combustion.

If not, how would I go about doing that, does anyone knows?

You mean with an alpha channel? Yes it´s possible - and get the After Effects plugs at Maxon.
