View Full Version : Normal maps, how do i use?
Levitateme 06-14-2003, 08:24 AM I got a shader that will allow me to render out normal maps. I have never heard of them until today, are they just the newest thing? do they just offer better results then then the black and white bump maps? can someone explain to me how i would use them in maya? would i still just use a image that is a normal map render as my bump map, instead of the black and white images?
