Peter Thomas has entered "Steampunk Myths and Legends".
"Flight of Icarus"
not just a good Iron Maiden Song :D
Greek myth of Icarus who was imprisoned with his father in the Labyrinth on Crete. So the pair fabricated wings from the scraps of metal & steel. Unfortunately Icarus, not taking the advice from his father, flew too close to the sun, the heat was too much for his Steampunk Wings and thus fell to his death in the sea drowning under the weight of the wings....
Alittle editing from Wikapedia's "Myth of Icarus" :cool: but that's My idea.
