Hey there,
this is my first attempt on an Outer Space Explosion, I'm not really satisfied with the overall looks yet since it somehow doesn't seem right.. I used a little bit of blur to get rid of the pointy look the Cloud Particles had.

I'm currently trying to improve the behavior and the way the particles look at the moment, so comments and criticism are more than welcome.

it's very interesting looking but I think it has too much radial symmetry for an explosion.

It also takes a hell of a long time to blow up.:curious:
