Title: Panegia
Name: Anthony Del Rizzo
Country: Canada
Software: Photoshop

I've always wanted to do something a little more in the classic style of portraiture... something that tells a bit of a story. Meet Panegia. All men yern for her warm morning bread...

I welcome your critiques.

Kind of blurred to me, but you got nice shapes.

I love your treatment. It's refreshing to see something different in the realistic style on this forum! The choice of colors and your technique gives it a very "illustrative" aspect. Keep'em coming!

Thanks LordMout. The objective was smooth/soft brush strokes to achieve a traditional approach... even the darks are 'light'.

Please at least give credit to the original source of the image. This is strait from Museum Replicas online catalogue.

That takes alot of nerve... to bring this to light. Are you saying that artists don't use reference? Do they not use models or inspirations?

I meant no disrespect to the photographer. This piece was not meant to be sold for profit. Call it practice... may be to recieve some positive feedback as an artist in learning.

Shame on me...
