I think there is something conceptually mismatched/ungraceful about the new designs.

The robot looks like a giant headless endo.
The Hydrobot looks like it came from the Matrix.
The less said about the motorcycle the better.

The giant tank machines made sense. The endoskeletons make sense because they were meant for infiltration.
The giant robot does not make sense.
Neither does the motorcycle.
They seem incongruous.

The giant robot reminds me of
CAIN from Robocop 2 (http://www.robocoparchive.com/info/cain5-2.jpg)

And I (http://www.aintitcool.com/images2008/ts3.jpg) have a probelm with the terminator-bikes..

I mean how useful are bikes if most of the world is rubble? It is not like Skynet has set up public works agenda as part of its world domination plan.

Ha!
I was trying to think of what it reminded me of.
Yes, Robocop 2.

Opinion!
They match the feeling of the original Terminator but with the usual details we now expect from modern performances.

On a side note...I was lucky enough to get to take part in this production although it was just as an extra I really felt like they intend on reviving this story and also remain loyal to the First 2...

This is going to be the most expensive production of all time from what i know.
It will attempt to bring a more convincing reality to the Terminator movies.

Watching the First two I always wanted to see more of the post apocalyptic world and that is exactly what we will get to see...
I think the mood is going to be a bit darker and that the art reflects this intent...

Now only if they would bring some of the Post production to Albuquerque and not just send all that great work back to Cali!

BTW...Mostly shot in New Mexico!
The perfect place to recreate a nuclear holocaust!
Hasta la vista...

They've been removed now so I couldn't see them.

Oh well. I'm not crazy-keen that the trilogy isn't now a trilogy. I suppose it can be labelled as the Schwarzenegger trilogy.

Yes you did spell that incorrectly!

I agree that the motor bike thing is a little 'we need an excuse for a cool action scene...I know...MOTOR BIKES!'. Oh I pray that Connor doesn't ride one of these.
Why would it need two 'eyes'?

I love the water thingy...freaky enough to make you squirm! And the really big harvester thing, I kinda like it.

Why would it need two 'eyes'?
Depth perception?

What is so top secret about them?
They are very easy to visualize.

Imagine a motorcycle with lots of little machiney accents and reddish eyes in the place of headlights

imagine a giant headless terminator endoskeleton with a regular endoskeleton positioned by its feet for scale reference.

imagine a metallic tentacle that looks like one of those claw arms from the Matrix(or a metallic version of those worm things from Deep Rising) coming out of water with a soldier guy as reference for scale.

and the remaining sketch was a dirty, dusty terminator soldier with part of his face eaten away and holding guns. He looked human but had some skin missing.

That's what I saw at the first link.
I dont recall anything else.

Shhh! You'll spoil the ruse!

All you have to do is tell people they can't have something and they'll clamour for it. It's like all those 'limited editions' DVD box sets that you can get 2 years later for 5, they sell a bucketload more at full price because people think they'll miss out if they don't buy them omygodrightthisminutenow.

I did like the concept art though, it was mostly nifty.
