Hi guys sorry if this was discussed elsewhere, I would like to know if there is a way, maybe a plugin, to paint decals in 3dsmax 2008 directly onto a mesh. I have to interactively paint decals, with a base texture, on a generic mesh in order to obtain a texture detail using some polys (decals) and then export them like a surface(s) and use it/them into a realtime engine.
I would like to use this method to draw, for example, some decals with a dirt texture onto a mesh with an asphalt texture in order to obtain some dirty textured details.
Anyone could give me a suggestion?
