I just got this sad news (oh well, at least its still completely useable for rough animatics as it is in its current form)

Important Notice to Antics3D Customers and Users
Antics Technologies will no longer be offering Antics3D for purchase or download, and subscriptions can no longer be renewed after 28th November 2008. We will continue to support existing customers, and allow access to content until at least June 2009. For more information please visit

Hmmm, interesting. I tried the free version a while back and found it clunky as anything to use, but... it's a bit sad this kind of thing won't be available anymore to those who liked it.

How would Autodesk Antics will be worse? Do you want less options?

yeah because Mudbox 2009, MotionbBuilder 2009 and maya 2009 have less "options" or features than before they were bought.

gotta love people who bitch about Autodesk for no reason. Less emo.

It's a shame. I wish Google would buy Antics and fold it into sketch up.

Antics has totally taken down their forums and are only offering current customers access to content. I thought they would at least leave the forums active as they did promise support till the subscription period ended. I don't know how they plan on providing support if they don't have any way to contact them.
