wow great detail on the warriors armorment. its really well done. my only crit is that, and its prolly with my bad vision, i dont know what that is behind him, im assuming its his cape, but it just looks 'off' to be a cape.
great work nonetheless :-)

looks ok.. has the potential to look great i think.., you need to frame him better Give heim a sillohette.. its impossible to see what hes doing. definitly get the horse in the shot (or what ever it is hes riding.. I wouldnt worry to much about the cape.. (or what ever it is... but definitly show the horse..
its just not reading as anything the way its composed right now.
good luck:)

Also Position the warrior better... his sword hand looks like a stump.. and you might want to move the cape aside or change its color, because the warrior gets lost in it..
sorry for being so critical.....
Did I mention that the modeling a and texturing look excellent:D

The face of your character could be a little more expressive. At the moment his facial expression gives the impression that he's standing still.
If he's riding or attacking somthing he should have more expressions on his face. Even if he's very old and has seen lots and lots of battle.
Also, in the big picture, is it a piece of armor that's fliyng of his leg ?
See ya :)

Like PaxtonGerrish said it has potential but you need to frame the picture better. I thought i would say some more about his "Sillhouette". Take a look at the two pictures, one has a good sillhouette, you can understand the pose even in black and white. but take the bad image; it's the same pose from a different angel but it is very hard to read.

good
then take a look at your image with just it's sillhouette (hope you don't mind i did a little photoshoping to it)

Any idea what could possibly be going in that image? I think if you try a different angle that the picture would be a lot stronger.
(other two images taken from http://www.comet-cartoons.com, I can't take credit for them. There's some great tutorials at that site too, this one was about concepts of animation. http://www.comet-cartoons.com/toons/3ddocs/charanim/)
Your warrior he look to have no the vitality, you did not let that other people have good angle to enjoy him.Your empress period work and not really perfect.I see rather the appearance that have no the flat surface processes.Wishing you progresses!
