I would like to kindly ask everyone to join me in a word of sympathy and care for long standing EI Community member David Wu (Dwu) and family who's father after a long and brave battle with a terminal illness graciously passed on November 5, 2008 at 10:30 am.
I offer my deepest love and sympathy to David and family who have been an outstanding blessing in my life. I wouldn't have made it as professional artist in New York City or Buffalo without his undenying support. We have shared studio spaces in NYC and won awards togethers, and overcome some serious challenges, but our relationship has been more than business partners. David has been like a good brother to me. I thank God for blessing me with him.
I met his Dad in the second studio David kindly shared with me, his countenance immediately changes any room to a peaceful place with his unspoken strength, and gentleness. I immediately took to him and understood why I immediately took to David. I barely knew David and he said yes when I had no place to put my computers when my business started to fail. He helped me til I got back on my feet with a corporate office at Philip Morris. The Apple does not fall far from the tree and the compassion David gave me is the same compassion I saw in his father face. I thank God for them and love them for that always.

God bless Terry (David's wife) and David for sharing the joy of allowing me to watch and pray for their beloved daughter Darcie grow up with lots of pointing at things :). I will continue to pray for them and that they be blessed in all they do. Thanks for sharing your Great and Beloved Dad and family with me.
