Hi there folks!!! Been playing with paint and it's been great. But i cant seem to draw a straight line. SHIFT and CTRL dont seem to aid in constraining the brush and ALT picks another color. Is there a snap to grid option that i can use coz i cant seem to find it. I know this seems like a stoopid question but i never said i was smart! :)

A paint stroke in DF is part of the polyline system. If you want a straight line, use the polyline option (rather than the stroke option) and just click 2 points. DF will then draw a straight line between them.

If you already have a stroke, you can make it editable, and then delete the points inbetween the first and last.
