using 3dsMax 2008

So I'm trying to render ambient occlusion to a texture.
I'm rendering to the same UV's as my model (flat mapping), and all the shading looks great but the seams of the uv's are showing up as black lines all over the mesh.

I know max is anti-aliasing or bleeding the background into the uv edges. (I changed the background color and the seams on the mesh changed to it) I tried turning off anti-aliasing in Rendering preferences but that didn't work. I've also turned up the Padding in the RTT options but no difference. Also tried just bumping up from 1024 to 2048 but still no difference.

Any ideas??

make sure your using the map that gets saved to your folder & not the rendered frame window..I think the padding only comes through on the saved image.
