I have created a bedroom then set up 2 vralight in each window with a target direct light pointing in through the windows which i did following a tutorial but it looks all wrong.
There are no shadows created by the windows, could this be because i am using an opacity map on a plane to create the 'glass' sections of the window???

vraylight = 6 intensity
Direct = 7 intensity

vray settings = catmull-rom
standard settings

i just dont understand why there is no shadows in the room?

any help would be amazing and really appreciated!!

Kind Regards

vray doesn't like opacity mapping...use actual geometry when ever possible

First check "invisible" for every Vray light,so they can pass the sunlight trough.And you also must have environment color-in vray renderer control panel check the "Environment" on.
I hope that will help :)
