Another "Rust in Piece" painting. I'm forever fascinated with the weathered textures of rust and broken glass.

Good image, I'm fascinated by old cars left to be slowly reclaimed by the environment.

Thanks Jose. I am still amazed at how many of these old clunkers there are hiding away in fields and back yards. Some kind of strange beauty in the decay. Thanks again and best of luck to you:)

Awesome piece,
I like the colour choice for the paint and the look of the texture on the car itself.

One of my favorite subjects, and well done!!
If I had any "druthers" it would be maybe to see the truck against foliage (greens/yellow-greens) maybe some soft-focus, so the truck would stand as the star of the image. To my eye, the building and windows are a little distracting and want to steal my eye.
Just a passing thought... this is a very fine piece of work, congratulations! :applause:

Hello Brady
Good work, I like the color choice and the style of this illustration.
I'm agree with NateOwens I think that the building take too much space in your illustration so it erase a little bit the importance of the car.
Thank you for the comment on my post.:)

Thanks CyrilT and no problem about the comment on your post. I love old west gun fighters.
I agree on the building too. It didn't cross my mind though until you guys mentioned it. I painted the image from a photograph and the building was just there. I liked the contrast between the blue/green building and the old red truck. However, the windows and lines on the building do distract quit a bit.
It looks like I might have to do a bit of re-work before I devote this one to print. Thank you so much for your comments and happy painting to you!
