Another portrait - more practice. I keep creating skin brushes in the hope that i will improve when creating skin textures. I have quite a few good brushes which I created in PS which i use with differing layer settings to get the build up - freckles, liver spots and moles etc...I am quite enjoying it.

Awesome work! The hair alone was rendered Fabulously. The work you did on the skin is flawless. Great piece. ( I really like the hair ). How long did the whole work take If I can ask?

Excellent work. The jewelrey sits well on her skin, looking very realistic. As mentioned her flesh is superb. The tattoo is also very good. 5 from me, no question.

Hey Patrick,

Finally I have the time to take a good (and calm) look (I don't have internet at home, so mostly I have to do everything in schoolbreaks).

Indeed the skinbrushes work very good. This is a soft, romantic image, and those little details and sharpess in it makes it realistic, focussed without loosing the romantic athmosphere.

The tatoo worked out very well. Mostley the tatoo's in drawings look to illustrator, big tribal, hard, massive, not fitting with the piece. But here it's really a part of the piece :D

Something that hasn't been said yet, is that the necklace steals the show.
