View Full Version : Ambient Occlusion shader help please....

Hi all,

I have a scene which is of a window frame i have renered as an AO pass in maya. The window frame itself has a plane on the back of it to accurately simulate a deep and physically accurate shadow which i intent to composite onto a wall. The problem is, however, the shader itself wont me let make the plane transparent wilst still yeilding some shadows ready to be composited over the wall plate.

Any help would be much appreciated...
