Hi there,
I have a big problem for color matching images.
I want to match color between my cameras.

On the left, the color wheel.
On the right my D200 and in the middel a sony Z1 cam.

I don't know if there is a tool to pick several defined pixel and to say "color match that" and it would create a curve that would match one with the other. Or my two pictures with the original color wheel.

Any other idea would be great too.

Best regards

Stan

one thing that needs to be done there is a white balance by looking at the white areas on the cards. I know in photoshop you use the special color picker and chose your highlights, midtones, and shadows and adjust them mathematically to the right values white = 255 etc.

So maybe n after effects you can use the CC Toner or "change color to" or similar tool and use it to alter the certain colors in one chart to look like the colors in another or....actually doing a color correction using individual levels. Just an idea but probably not the most efficient or proper way to do this.

that's true, I could do a white and black balance, but that's not really the point :o)
It may help that's for sure, but I would like to have a plug where I have 5 or 10 "eyedropper tool" that I can match one with the other, and it would create a curve in R G and B (different) that would invert the colorimetry of my cam.

I don't know if I'm express myself clearly
