We recently got our hands on an early version of Tron 2.0, the upcoming first-person shooter from Monolith and Buena Vista. Tron 2.0 is a game-based follow-up to the original Tron film from the early '80s. The game includes the voice talent of Bruce Boxleitner, who played Alan Bradley in the original film; the voice of Rebecca Romijn-Stamos, best known for her work as a Sports Illustrated model and for playing Mystique in the X-Men films; and the voice of Cindy Morgan, the original Yori character from the movie, as the computerized AI character ma3a (pronounced "ma-three-uh").

i just got done beta testing Tron 2.0 and it is a great, great, great, game.
the graphics look dated? no. they look like your in the movie Tron. they did add some new things, but they kept the true "feeling" of the original movie. if they were to add tons of textures, they would lose the Tron feel and everyone would be screaming bloody murder. the glow effects rocks, the sound effects are right on, and they even got Syd Mead to design a new lightcycle. and check THIS OUT. (http://www.gamespot.com/pc/action/tron20/screens.html?page=84) kinda hard to explain, this is your sub-menu that lets you add features to yourself. when you find data, you sometime have to defrag it, then you can add the ability. not only do you have health, you have power which you use to dl stuff and interact with everything around you. it makes it more then a simply FPS.
running around, using the discs was pure fun, like when you were a kid in the backyard with a frisbee. plain and simple, buy the game, and i'll see you on the grid.
end of line...
