This is a wushu/martial arts exercise for one of my classes. I haven't gotten to polish yet so there's no foot rolls, only a basic facial expression, like two basic hand poses, stiff arms and so on. I would like some comments on the timing before I polish.
My first question is how are the beats? How does the hold feel before the 2nd jump in the air?
Also, how is the end. I originally had him do a little jump in the air from the left over energy from the 2nd jump but I changed it to where he doesn't leave the ground. I'm thinking since he lands fast and there's lots of energy, he'll be really stretched out and he'll hold for a few seconds before he lands. What do you think of it? Does he stay up too long? Should he come off the ground just a bit?
Lastly, any other comments regarding timing, poses, and anything else are greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
