Wow dude, that looks great. Lots of character

The only thing i got to crit would be that the sagging skin looks to sharp in the folds. Soften that up and you got it perfect :)

Thanx for responses. I'm using Maya 4.5
To be more specific, hair is made with Maya FUR and skin shader with standard materials. Mr. Stahlberg helped me a lot - I was inspiring by his tutorial on human skin shading. If you are interested I'll post here link to that thread. ;)

Yes, maybe I'll do a hat too... but I've got tough days with his hair, so I want them to be visible...
Good idea though. I've got many pictures of how his hat should look like in my head ;)

I think he is glowing to much soo the skin looks to red, wizards are usually dull and wrinkely until they start casting spells, (or soo i have it in my head)

I tried to improve that lightning and added some highlights to his skin... I'm not sure about his color though

Maybe a tad less red I'd still say. It looks like he's sorta constipated ( no offense), but excellent detail none the less.

For the lighting I think you should put up a little blue light. (the glow in his hand will show some lighting

The skin looks very good now. The right skincolor.

Very VERY nice work. It has come a long way from the first posted image.

My critique is his veins on his temple. Nice touch, but they look a bit too pronounced and 'cross-like.' Try to take it down just a smidgen. I also like the skin tone--very natural. The 5 o'clock shadow is also a nice touch.

nice yob, but is time to improve the textures.

1st of all the wizard looks concentrated, so i think that is necessary to paint a bump map with bumps, wrinkles and veins, little holes (something like a fractal noise) on the nose and under the shave. when i paint bump map i use to start working with a 1000X2000 pixel canvas in order to put more information than possible.

2nd if the wizard is very old, color map must be crossed by veins and capillars, use both red (purple) and blue to paint them. time ago i obliged my grand to allow me takin' some photoes from his face and i noticed so many details i could not believe!!! maybe you can try... hope you find this useful.
