Looks good. Can't really see it to well though. could you post a better resolution? If you don't have a web host there are a bunch that are free. Search the forum for lil dragons post about this. Probably get a bunch more people complementing yah if they could see it better.

Just a suggestion. Good work.

Yep, looks like an manipulated cut-out of a photo to me or a trace job atleast. Not dissing your "art", and I could be wrong, but that's what it looks like.

ok apart from whether or not the subject material was a big influence i feel that what alot of people miss in digital painting, and what i dont see here, is a real consideration for brush strokes. every stroke needs to be a considered entity as a comparison of tone, colour and of direction. this painting however is a bit of a muddle of strokes, its not fine enough or its not coarse enough, it sits inbetween and looses some real feeling to it.

A HAWK I TELL YOU

now.. back to the point, it still is cool, but dont denie tracing if your going todo it. You did denie it above, so just come out with it, to many smarty pants like myself here will bust you

thank you for your comments, it is true that remains rather close to the photograph but the effect is desired, and I did not work on the photograph I just wanted to be close to the model

thanks all

Yeah, look at the white on the bottom of his pants. If you were painting on a transparent layer, why would you add pure white to pure black and then smudge it together.

Seems pretty iffy to me. I say off with his head!!!

EDIT: I took a look at his website and the art on there isn't bad. So I retract my previous statement. Still not sure if this is legit yet, but it could be.
