Title: Audi R8 nightshoot
Name: Juanjo Bernabeu
Country: Espaņa
Software:
The image is a CG composition.
The image was modeled in Maya and rendered in fryrender with layerblending for the lights and many passes for postproduction.
The car is remodeled from a purchased dosch design 3d object in my last 3d work as a archviz, only maintaining rear part, tyres and plate. All the rest is remodeled for me.
Hope you like it!

Hi mate, the model is great and materials are good too,but I think the main composition isnt good.Mostly always what people want to show put in the middle of the picture, same as in the real life, when you waching to some object you look at it whit your both eyes in the midle of the object...you know what I mean.So it little bit pisses that your main object-car isnt in the centre but somewhere in the left.Sorry for my rude crit;)
Anyway I love R8,keep going,good luck!

First of, respect for the very nice nightshot you have created here! - love the colors and the feel of realism ! :)
regarding Stringas' about composition, i would actually disagree with you, since the focus on pictures is in the golden cut (about 1/3 of the picture) which he HAS actually pulled of very nicely :) centered objects on pictures is (in my opinion) too boring, and its like it dosnt challenge the audience enough...
Just my 25cent... Keep up the good work JJB! :)

not really, theres lots of possibilities.
always putting the object of attention in the middle of the pic is a bit boring after some time.
although i agree the comp could be a bit better here but nice modeling and render.
Great work man, very photorealistic.
The only thing that convinced me that this is CG is the number plate, for my opinion it's a bit stretched.
About the composition, personally I'm a huge fan of composition games, even though I'm not that good at it. I think your choice is great, and, if you're good at it, I'd suggest you go a bit wild with some other compositions, coz the model itself is great, so a dynamic composition would make it top notch.
Cheers!

Ey!A lot of thanks to all. I'm surprised with your variety of answer. This, helps me to improve for the next images.
This is my first image in the gallery and the first car I make completely only, including postproduction. :)
I'm very happy and excited, thanks stringas, NicklasByriel, CHRiTTeR, xogg. Sorry for the plate!jajaja, I was tyred of the postproduction session and my eyes overlook some details.:)
My intention was to show a still shoot as a print car comercial, but with the adition of pictoric creative style.
The quality of the photo isn't enought so I can't play much with this, but I'm preparing a two renders with other impresive images with the same model.
I can tell that it is my first trying and I will take seriously all your advices. A lot of thanks!
Best regards!

Did you see the headlamps?, the LEDS?, and the quattro logo and the grids? Don't worry, I remodeled all the car for make my self modeling. The car you show it has 300.000 polys. My car have 2 millions. I remodeled all the front part, the only isn't modeled are the rims of the tyre and the plate, :)
Aren't all the R8 equal?

ok, I save the description, waiting changes from moderators, but I put here to see well:
"The car is remodeled from a purchased dosch design 3d object in my last 3d work as a archviz, only maintaining rear part, tyres and plate. All the rest is remodeled for me."
Sorry for unnoticed that.:)

Thanks Olele;:) I aprecciate your honest. You are right, as I say you in the other post, the rims and the rear view mirrors are the only thing untouched of the original model.:)
The next model I'm making is 100% modeled by me.Is a Merces C-class 2009 coupe and the detail is fantastic to make macro photography, :)
Best regards!
