CGTalk - open and save as document

Hi! I'm a new menber of Zbrush. There are many things i don't understand. But for now i have a question.
i opened one file , it is created by save document but when it is opened , i can't start edit it. How to edit it? Seem to be a new document opened with background is a my poly!
I worked again and save as tool document. I must paint poly to edit continue. maybe it right?
who can explain for my about two document.

import your polygon object as obj. Draw it on thre canvas and press T (edit mode)

When you save your work you will have to use the "save as" button in the tool palette.
It will save your work as a ZTool (.ZTL).
This way you can always relaod the tool and edit it. (always pressing t right after drawing it on the canvas)

The document "save" option saves kind of a flattened version which stores the color and debth information but you can´t edit the objects in 3d mode any more.
