Looks like the extra effort Newtek has been putting into the Mac version has paid off. :thumbsup:

doesnt mean to start a new 'hot topic' but whats wrong with maya on mac? Im planning to buy a new 3D Apps on Apple and Maya seems to be my best option.

ouch! sounds like maya is very particular to the mac spec your trying to run it on and ati have always been rubbish for 3d apps so lesson 1> do not have an ati powered mac for 3d graphics apps.
if you have an intel mac then really you'd be best running windows version of maya.
lightwave's port/dev on mac osx looks to have been far more succesful than maya and i also here that modo is pretty buggy software on pc or mac...

just a bit OT I think, since this thread is about recognizing the great job thta has goine into lightwave for Mac =)
You are totally right. Inappropriate on my part. Congrats to the LW team. They got things rolling on the Mac and it is great to see LW as a strong part of the Mac 3D culture.
