Just a new guy that's been messing around with this for a while. I'm experimenting with trying to get a good balance of 2-D and 3-D. I call it a "volumetric toon". You can call it one of the Rice Krispies guys or something LOL. I did it in Max with Quick Dirt, Shag-Hair, and Simbiont Max. Post was in Photoshop. :)

It's an interesting picture, but i guess it would take all its strength and originality in animation.
Right now it's a good 2d picture. :)

Really nice. You've definitely reached some kind of balance betweeen 2d and 3d that I haven't seen before. Really nice character design.
