Can i paint particles ?

im not sure about the painting, but u can place them wherever u want.

go into Dynamics.

select Particles >Particle Tools setting (the square)

then in the setting, choose the number of particles, maximum radius and then click on sketch particles.


and draw away.

but how to paint on special object.

u make the object live.

so select the object, make it live (its the magnet (beside where the snap to ... buttons are))

so make it live then u can only paint particles on that object, once done, click on the magnet again to make it unlive.
