Since I cant afford shit now.. Not a student anymore and out of work, I'll stick to hairdepartment.. But it looks really on top of things that it supposed to do!

Btw, how much does it effect the render-time?

normally it increases the rendertime alot but as said in the description it was extremely enhanced so there's less than 1% of the earlier versions' rendertime needed !

but the crappy requirements i have don't really affect rendertime :D

this looks totally sweet, cinema is very lucky to have such a high quality product avalible. I mean LW doesnt have shave, last I heard about it anyway.

Actually the press release says it can use up to 1% of the *RAM* that Shave 1 used. This is great if you don't have enough RAM, but using the Tiles option really kills render times.

I haven't done a 1-1 comparison, but Shave2 actually seems a little slower than Shave1. *But*, the results are much better.

The first Shave was cheaper for a long time up to this release (i think from february or something), what it means is there wont be a first shave & haircut available anymore.
