Does anyone know if the production shader library is exposed in Maya 2009?

not yet.
you can type: optionVar -iv “MIP_SHD_EXPOSE” 1; in script editor and restart maya

I edited line 171 in mentalrayCustomNodeClass.mel to this:

$enableMIPShaders == 1 ) ||

now they are there.


Must be the same as doing:

optionVar -iv “MIP_SHD_EXPOSE” 1;

Could someone try to create the mip_cameramap node? It crashes Maya 2009 x64 on XP 64 right after I create the node on my machine?
