The new macbook (not pro) as a 1280*800 resolution, the minimal for afterfx cs4 is stated to be 1280*900. Will it run ? anyone tested it?

Should run, it just will look a bit crammed and the initial layout may go out of whack, so you will have to create user-specified layouts. The more interesting question is, if you will be able to take any advantage of the graphics system by ways of OpenGL, though.

use an external monitor for higher rez.
