ok this is a seriously awesome model, but what's the story behind it? what IS your game actually? i think for now you sort of missed the point of this challenge.
I don't think this is something i'd buy a game for, so change my mind with a back-story ;)

I like that model so far just the right forearm seems to be a littlebit too short ... but that could be the camera angle.
The gun is looking good!

i see.. not a very usual theme for a game right?
it is for a RTS game, character centered, like warcraft or something, that u folow a story line. the "age" is that of the first gunpowder wars, but yet with classic/renascentist armors, they were not very used yet to the new style of war, so this is kind of mixed up, swords and guns. of course not in realreal world, so a bit of fantasy will be also added.
the generals used that emplumed hats to be recognized.
due to the time needed to reload the guns, the gun units have guns and swords, they shot and then use they swords, and only reload when they are standing.
sometimes the guns explode in their ands and stuff like that.
so i supose i should have said this earlier, shame on me:1

Amazing work! Can't wait to see more!
Did you model him in that pose, or did you model him in a neutral pose and posed him with bones or something similar?

This is looking really great. You are using cloth dynamics for this??? ...... That should look sweeeeeeet.
Good luck, it great to see someone doing some really lifelike stuff instead of toons or aliens.
