Hello

for a simple walk cycle I need the Foot joint to stay firm on the ground ..
using Auxiliary effector for the foot effector, it tries to remain still when the character move along the way... but not %100 ..

I mean there is a little looseness so the foot joint's not stuck fully to the effector although the reach parameters are set to 100...

do I need to do something else to stick the foot the ground?

thank U in advance

A much faster way to do this is to switch to selection key mode and select the foot markers,
pick the frame that the foot is planted , and then use Key at time to paste keyframes over the set of frames you want the foot locked down.

foot plant_ frame 5 (key at time : 6,7,8,9,10) the foot ctrls will stay locked in that pose for that time range.

.. For your aux. question, check that the reach settings for the first ankle contorler are set to 0 and that the pull is on and it should not move. Some times the reach settings are left on or keys are not keeping them at 0, while the AUX ctrl, should be at 100%

Hope that helps,

so to set a key at frame 5 for ankle effector and copy and paste it over frame 6 to 10 ... am I right?

for the aux .. I checked it out... pull parameter is grayed out .. don't know why..
the reach parameters are all set ... the ankle joint effector still acts weird ..
it shifts from its Aux effector again..

thank u

sorry but i need a solution.... for most part of the IF system it works fine, I mean Aux effector affects the joint at real 100% but for foot and shoulders it slides a bit... even the weight is above 100

please help]
