CGTalk - Pre-set animation in 3ds Max

View Full Version : Pre-set animation in 3ds Max

Hi, i was wondering if there is any way to animate something and then save that animation and click a button when you want to add it in.
Ive made this space ship and want it to fire while flying. So i figured it would be easier if i had a 'fire' animation and i could just add it into the flying animation when i wanted the ship to fire. Does anyone know how to do this or know of any tutorials?

you could try using the block controller, plenty of info on how to use it in the online helpfiles that ships with Max,
