this is a new character that I am making for a short animation .

the animation is going to be a funnt story with this character
another character and two objects.

the hands and arms are going to be remodeled but i cant resist i have done a test for pose and a walkcyle for seeing how everiting go

i love the style... it reminds me sort of the jimmy neutron movie. maybe if the dad were reliving the 70's this is what he'd look like :) anyways... i luv it

one thing that sorta sticks out is that he sort of appears low poly... even though it's cartoonish in style i'd like to see smoother fingers and arms

didn't see that "hands and arms going to be remodelled" part so i guess you're already ahead of me ;) looks great

now im remodelling hands ands arms ;) it need to be redone .

Yes the character is a 70 revival make for make more funny the sort.


do you have seen the animations of the walk cycle?

no, haven't checked the walk cycle yet. don't have divx or any codecs installed on this puter. will check them when i get home tho

changes a little thniks in the body and the hands and arms.

dont know if the hands need more details or are good because for me a cartoons hands dont need to be detailed.

what do you think?

I really like more the new hands thay fit better with your character!!!!!!nice and funny character keep it up!!!!
I want to see facial animation though!!:bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

looking nice, love the feel he has... could really see much from the animation clips, think my divx is playing up..... only crit model wise i have is to give the shoes a bit more contrast as the rest of the body looks really nice with the shadws, but the shoes almost look flat at times....
but very nice werk there.

I like the style! More details on the hand aren't needed. Cartoon characters shouldn't be so detailed.
Perhaps the legs should be more rounded (in the front)

finally the remodelling of the character is done .

make changes in eyes and mouth for be more good deformed during the animation.

thanks for the coments of the shoes seeing the shoes i have dicaided that sole of the shoe need to be more fat.

MiGa finally ad more details on hands i think it will be great when i deform the hands.


now restart the rigging and the next mage tahta you will see were a lot of poses for test the character ;).
