dirty up the white on the inside of the boat a little. Make some of the objects wet, maybe some water in the bottom of the boat? Other than those suggestions, it looks great. Even without those suggestions its great. Nice job on the composition, modelling & texturing

Really Nice !
check your anti aliasing through the goggles, I think you need to a tag to force the anti alias.

First I would get rid of the boat the fippers the scuba tank and the water. Just kidding. It looks very good. After looking at the pic for quite a while scanning it I can't think of what to do different. If anything the gun looks a little wierd to me but I don't know what they look like. Does it need an alpha grundge on part of it. The piece looks great. The texture on the snorkle and flippers look perfect.
near perfect dude.
just the anti aliasing needs to be set to best not geometry.
But for this type of scene its all prefect.

great image. only thing i would improve is the color of the water.
too much of that clear blue color in the image. just a question of taste.

awesome job man!!:applause: looks great! maybe tone down the colours a bit, desaturate them. and as the others said some waterdrops on the boat would be pretty cool, and make the water a bit darker, looks a bit swimming pool like at the moment.

Maybe the spear-gun looks a little too plasticy...
Of course I've never been within 20' of a real one so maybe it looks perfect.
Other then that, looks great to me :buttrock:
I would expect the oxygen bottle to have some scratches instead of dirt on it. The scratches could show clear metal, which in turn would probably reflect light blue sky.
That's the only thing I could think of, in any case the image is much better than what I could make!

Really nice image. I love the blue water color, and the speargun looks right (they DO look plasticky). My only critique would be strictly from a technical point of view: the regulator and tank aren't as accurately modeled as the rest. Search the web for some photos of a real regulator. Also, there's no backpack or harness for the tank visible.

many thanx for all the good words.
I was going to finish the scene tomorow, but I have to agree with some sugestions and will try to improve the image. since saturday I'll go to the Croatian sea side, I hope I'll find some good real life models there :).

It looks great.
One suggestion, some dirt would make it more believable, ie use dirtynuts

great image!
I would consider desaturating some of the colors a little bit. the gun looks a little rounded and the rings on the tank look unfinished.
Really nice work... would love to see some of your other stuff. Do you have a website?

Looks great.
Is the handle of the spear gun intersecting with the flipper? Looks a little suspect.
What is the reflectivity value on the water. Does it have BN fresnel gradient applied? Doesn't quite look "self-reflective" enough.
I would suggest displacement rather than bump on the hull of the boat.
Beautiful work.

no, it doesn't. the flipper i took for modell is a little different in shape. perhaps i shell show it by it self i you will see what i mean.
the reflection is a plain 20% reflection. i undeststand what you mean. i tryed with the free translucence plugin, but cinema crash and i abort this aproach. but i shell try your sugestion.
i don't dare to subdivide the mesh so much to aply a displacement. but for the final render i will try to add some, i don't know the english word, ok, displacement, by hand to the hull.

Oh I see. So if the flipper has an unusual feature you might want to move it slightly so that's clearer to the viewer. Kind of hard to tell that it's part of the design of the flipper.
Really tiny criticism though.
