Seemed to good to pass up on.

ok firstly the preliminary sketch

and my primary thoughts on his colouring

http://www.liquidelephant.f2o.org/modules/gallery/albums/Robanthony/abe.jpg

As you can see its quite 'cubey', Thats just a style I've grown to like because I haven't got my own proper style yet ( I know, never was a tale of such woe)
ok...

So I read the rules and I wasn't too sure on them, but here goes nothing

Style of Game :: Rhythm/Music

Background of Character :: He's a Vampire, hence the horny (hehehe) hair, blue skin, fangs and pointy ears.

He plays in a band, (name pending) with his other other-wordly mates, a werewolf on bass, squidy-man thing on drums, ghost on guitar, the usual.

In the Game he must (or one of the other characters) must play to varied audiences so that they become infatuated the band, and as these things often are, the band then steals their souls.

they must try different music tastes to find the tastiest souls

I will definately draw the rest of the band for the final piece, maybe a love interest as well.

tell me if I have got something wronk

***edit, I really should proof read my posts***

updated differented view,

so I was thinking for the final composition:

Said band on a stage with very fisheye lens thing going on (I dont know any techincal terms) lots of silhouettes of the audience in the foreground/ at the bottom,

either the the two main protagonists, the vamp and the "bad" guy face to face, or just the band doing their stuff, hmmm. I'll draw this up

Hamsterhead ... good start! I like your character a lot, and the subtle shading on his face is nice. You've got a good idea for a scene too. I've got my eye on this one!

I'd like to see it done with really accurate sharp lines, and maybe a more consistent approach to shading / highlighting .... you've used a soft airbrush in the hair I think, but it may look better if you stick with a crisp edged brush like the one on the face. Then perhaps to finish off, a nice chunky dark outline around the whole figure?

Only my thoughts.... feel free to ignore them or tell me to mind my own business!
